Ask practical questions
Ask how single-use items are handled, how reusable equipment is processed where applicable, what product information is recorded and what written aftercare you will receive. A clear answer should help you understand the process without requiring you to become an infection-control expert. If an answer is vague, ask for clarification before proceeding.
Use the right local context
Ontario’s Personal Service Settings regulation addresses requirements including information for invasive procedures and recordkeeping. Keep product details available if a reaction occurs
